DIY wedding flowers from Costco

Would you believe me if I told you that these flowers were from COSTCO and that I used them for my wedding and set them up myself!?

Click here to see costco flowers .They ended up being about $1 per rose. I ordered $600 worth of flowers and my wedding was overflowing with flowers. That is a STEAL! Most people budget thousands of dollars for flowers. For my vases I went to the goodwill and bought everything they had for 50 cents a piece!

The average wedding in America is $30,000 these days, or way more.

We did our wedding for about $7000 with $150 people in California, Here’s how:

Venue : Free (in laws 20 acre property in their barn)

Photographers $2000 (was the least expensive professional I found that was still gorgeous)

Catering $2000 (no one cares about $150 a plate wedding food) a local lady did ours, and she had tons of gorgeous decor she let me use as well.

Flowers: $600

Decor: $500 lots of DIY and thrifting

Alcohol : beer and wine only $1000

Candy bar/ cupcakes : $200

Table and chair rentals: $500 we used the same chairs for the ceremony and reception.8?

Other miscellaneous things I’m sure but these are the biggest categories.

We had a fabulous honeymoon! All inclusive Cabo, even included flights $2000

These wine barrels were from Home Depot. Ant I made the shutter doors and connected them with a long 2×4 piece of wood.

I should add that I had long rectangular tables, that were actually 2 put together. We had over 150 guests, so those roses went a long way!

My Chargers were from Michaels I picked them up when they were on sale and they came out to 1.50 each, you can’t rent them for that! I wrote my guests names with chalk pen on the charger and made a paper napkin bow. Since it was a barn wedding we used plastic plates and forks that looked like china, also in bulk from Costco. I added silver and gold glitter to a lot of the vases from the goodwill. Same with the candle sticks! I painted them with silver spray paint.  click to see more about painting goodwill finds_MG_1255_MG_1254

I made my table numbers too! Find cheap frames at the thrift store. Paint them, cover the glass with burlap, then I used glitter puff paint to draw the numbers on. _MG_1253

My Caterer already had these crystal centerpieces, but you can find similar ones here
