Whenever I’m decorating I always need height. A great way to add that is to stack books! But if you like neutral like me, you don’t want a bunch of random colored books. So here is the pile I started with!
Some are hardback which are great, and usually you can just remove the paper cover, and use the pretty hard cover underneath. For the paperback, you want to completely rip the cover off from front to back. Book lovers beware, I’m so sorry if this upsets you! Good news is I found a use for all those paper grocery bags we all save, but then forget to reuse at the store. Well, if your hardback book cover turns out to be bright purple like mine, just cover it with the neutral brown paper. It’s also fun to tie a few books together with twine, or use a few pages of the book and tool them and wrap in twin. See how I’ve used these books when styling my home!
